The fire service is a regional service as it protects two sectors:
- THEUX, 12,000 inhabitants in 10,000 hectares
- SPRIMONT, 13,000 inhabitants in 10,000 hectares
Interventions in 2007:
- THEUX, 59 fires and 347 miscellaneous interventions (*)
- SPRIMONT, 39 fires and 268 miscellaneous interventions (*)
(*miscellaneous: road accidents, floods, jammed lifts, wasps' nests, etc.)
