  Concession: application

 

If you want to submit an application for a concession, you must go in person to the registry office with your identity card. Copies of the application form are available at the office.

To find out the new legislation on funerals and burials (subsection 2: "Concessions"), we refer you to the special provisions in the Walloon decree of 6 March 2009.

  Lawn of honour 

A special area in certain municipal cemeteries has been established for the direct interment of the bodies of people:

  1. killed in the war;
  2. repatriated from Germany (prisoners of war and deportees);
  3. resistance fighters killed on active service;
  4. killed by firing squad;
  5. 100% disabled as a result of the war, if there are still places available.
